About the project
The project "DigitAll 4 Migrants" aims to address the digital inequalities faced by migrants and refugees living in European countries. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of digital access and skills, as it has become essential for economic activity and social interactions. However, not everyone has equal access to the internet or the ability to navigate the digital world, leading to a digital divide.
“DigitAll 4 Migrants” seeks to bridge this gap by providing migrants with the necessary digital tools and upskilling pathways. The project aims to improve their digital skills and competences, enabling them to regain autonomy and actively participate in civic and social activities. It plans to create an Open Educational Resource specifically tailored to the digital needs of migrants and refugees. This resource will help them engage with their communities and facilitate their inclusion in host countries by enabling access to digital platforms for exercising their rights and fulfilling their civic obligations.
The project’s overall goal is to promote equality, eliminate discrimination, and democratize digital tools for all individuals, particularly those who are at a higher risk of social exclusion. By empowering migrants with digital skills, the project aims to enhance their opportunities and foster a more inclusive society.
